Since the trailing slash is stripped from $($(PKG)_SITE) by pkg-generic.mk:
$(call DOWNLOAD,$($(PKG)_SITE:/=)/$($(PKG)_SOURCE))
so it is redundant.
This patch removes it from $(PKG)_SITE variable for BR consistency.

The xcb-util lacks a dependency on libxcb. Without this dependency, it
fails to build with:
checking for XCB... no
configure: error: in `/home/thomas/projets/buildroot/output/build/xcb-util-0.3.9':
configure: error: The pkg-config script could not be found or is too old. Make sure it
is in your PATH or set the PKG_CONFIG environment variable to the full
path to pkg-config.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables XCB_CFLAGS
and XCB_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the
AUTOTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to
repeat its name and the directory in which it is present.

Now that we have libtool-2.2.x patch support, we can get rid of a bunch
of _LIBTOOL_PATH = NO, fixing (potential) cross link issues.

gperf on the host is needed, since it is used by xcb-util to generate
a perfect hash function.

quite work yet for me, but this clearly is a huge project and not having it
quite work on the first pass is hardly unexpected. We definately want this
stuff in buildroot.
