Norman Feske 64245dde3a Avoid superfluous compiler warnings GCC warns about uninitialized local variables in cases where no initialization is needed, in particular in the overloads of the 'Capability::call()' function. Prior this patch, we dealt with those warnings by using an (unreliable) GCC pragma or by disabling the particular warning altogether (which is a bad idea). This patch removes the superfluous warnings by telling the compiler that the variable in question is volatile.		2012-10-08 15:08:21 +02:00

README

This is generic part of the Genode implementation. It consists of two parts:

:_Core_: is the ultimate root of the Genode application tree
  and provides abstractions for the lowest-level hardware resources
  such as RAM, ROM, CPU, and generic device access. All generic parts of Core
  can be found here - for system-specific implementations refer to the
  appropriate 'base-<system>' directory.

:_Base libraries and protocols_: that are used by each Genode component
  to interact with other components. This is the glue that holds everything
  together.
